As I wrote before(in my harddisk died), my hdd corrupted and I had to complain it. I was told that my drive had bad sectors so they always replace those drives. It was strange, because I have tested it with many programs and it seemed fine. Anyway, I found that behind all of this was my old power source. It was Mercury 450W made by Kobian. It's not far from "no name" quality, but it served my well about five years. So I had to buy a new power source.

 I want to make a small server which will serve as a web server, file server and a bit-torrent client. I hate to have runing pc in my room because of the noise. When I'm not at home or I work it's ok, but when I want to sleep I have to always turn it off. Not to mention the power cunsumption. So I decided to make a small server. I have an old computer which is perfect for this. Recently, I bought a WiFi router so I can place my server into another room and enjoy sweet silence.

I bought a new hard-disk Seagate Barracuda 7200.11 640GB last month. I was really satisfied with it, because it had 32 MB cache, 640GB space, it was quiet and it had good temperature. Since I bought it, I have noticed that it few times disconets itself and connects back. It was just few times, nothing big, but two days ago it started to reconnect every moment and it's read speed falls down to 4 MB per second.
